A few marathon facts: The marathon is a long-distance foot race with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles and 385 yards), that is usually run as a road race.
"Why are you running this very very very long race?" I hear you ask.
Well this summer I am going on a team to Uganda for 2 weeks and there I will be taking part in various forms of love, whether it be meeting practical needs or taking the time to listen to peoples life stories. We need to stand up for the poor and show Gods love to everyone, God calls us to first love Him and then love others, it's a call to action.
