The Lords Resistance Army continues its fight against the Ugandan government by abducting children in the northern regions of Uganda. The nature by which the abductions take place are incredibly gruesome. Children are maimed, cut, mutilated, boiled and often even eaten by their closest friends. Children can be forced into killing their own parents in an attempt to break all ties with their former lives.Now because of an intense fear of the rebels thousands of children commute every night from their villages into the relative safety of the larger towns of Kitgum and Gulu. Can you imagine living in this fear?
